Rachel Fried, Grant- Wide Services & Native Outreach
Appalachian State University in Boone, NC

Rachel is a social justice educator with 15 years of experience in the field. She has worked in selective admissions at a variety of public and private universities and has helped many school districts throughout the U.S. implement comprehensive college and career readiness programs. She is passionate about fly fishing, even ties her own flies, and believes student success depends on all students being able to choose for themselves from among a variety of high quality postsecondary options.

Andy Morrison, Regional Recruitor Manage
The Univrsity of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Andy is 16-year professional in colleges admissions and recruitment.  He has experience working at a smaller private school and a large public school during his career.  Currently he is a Regional Recruiter Manager and a Georgia Regional Recruiter for The University of Alabama.  He loves the relationships he has developed with high school and independent counselors over the years and is excited to lend his insight for this event.  Andy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College (Berea, Ohio) in 2002. In May of 2007, he earned his Master of Business Administration from the Byrd School of Business at Shenandoah University (Winchester, Virginia).
