Kara Carlson
Coordinator of Communications for the NCAA Eligibility Center

Kara was previously the Assistant Registrar for Athletics Eligibility at the University of Utah and prior to that, she was an assistant director of amateurism certification and academic review at the Eligibility Center. Kara has a master’s degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Iowa.


Vince Sasso
Director, Counselor Community Engagement

After spending six years in public schools and four as a school counselor, Vince now works with counselors across the country through counselor communication and delivering professional development. As a current student in Purdue University’s Master of Science in Communication program, Vince is now combining his knowledge of counseling and communications to more effectively engage with counseling professionals.
